Purpose of building a different campus was taken in consideration in 2006. The second campus of ULAB was built in Dhanmondi area. After the second campus, third campus also took place. It was also built in Dhanmondi. Advantages and environment of campus are very attractive. A friendly relationship is maintained by the teachers and students. There is a cafeteria in each campus of ULAB. Library is well organized.

Administrative Structure of ULAB: From the first convocation of ULAB, late honorable president of Bangladesh Zillur Rahman got himself attracted in this university. Now the present honorable president Abdul Hamid is the chancellor of this university. Vice chancellor plays the most important role for the university. He has to maintain all the administrative works. Maintaining three campuses is in his hands.

Courses and Fees of ULAB: Courses of ULAB are much more affordable for the common people of Bangladesh. A student with excellent result gets scholarship for his studying in here. Every year students get themselves admitted in undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The faculties approve students with science and arts background. Bangladesh University of Textiles

“Knowledge is power.” Following this motto in 2010, here started the only public university for textile engineering. And that is Bangladesh University of Textiles, Broadly known as BUTex.

To be known, it was one of the oldest institutions in our country. In 1921 it was the East Bengal Textile Institute. Then it was under the British rule. In 1950, the rule went to the hand of Pakistan as we were also the Eastern colony of Pakistan. During then, it had the name which was East Pakistan Textile Institute. After liberation it became College of Textile Engineering and Technology under the Faculty of Engineering, University of Dhaka. Many changes came so far and the last what we know about this university is, it became Bangladesh University of Textiles under its own authority.

Location: BUTex is in the Tejgaon Industrial Area, Dhaka. Its campus is distributed among 11.67 acres of space in that area. So, the campus is suitable for the students there.

Students: Every year the University takes 400 Undergraduate students, 75 Post-Graduate students and 50 MBA students. Now, the varsity provides its opportunities to total 1350 (1200 Undergraduate/150 Post-Graduate) students. Among them 15% is female. So it’s a promising university to many textile lover students.

Faculties: From the beginning of our traditional history, we had a pride of producing the best quality of textile materials and silk. Begum Rokeya University

Begum Rokeya University in Rangpur is one of the most prestigious public universities in Bangladesh. It has a very good position in the ranking of the best universities in Bangladesh. The university is named after Begum Rokeya who was the initiator of female education. The academic curriculum started from the session 2008-09.The university follows the semester system which includes two semesters in a year for the students.

At the very beginning, the university had only 300 seats for the students and in the first year of admission test, about 18000 students contested for the seats. There were only two faculties- faculty of arts and faculty of science and engineering. These two faculties contained six different subjects which are Bangla, English, Economics, Business administration, Mathematics and CSE. In these long six years, the university has developed a lot. Now it has six different faculties containing twenty one departments. About four thousands students are studying here now. It has an enriched library and cafeteria in the campus premises. Begum Rokeya University also provides hostel to the students who come from all over the country.

Begum Rokeya University has a number of tremendous teachers who earned their degrees from different institutions at home or abroad. They try to give their best to teach their students. They are well equipped to provide the best education to their students. Still more teachers and official are getting recruited in the university as it is being expanded day by day. CUET Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology
